Ingredients
- 4 kg beef Stew meat diced
- 5 Oxo cubes
- 10 Tbsp plain flour (use generous spoonfuls)
- 3 kg onions
- 5 Tbsp Marmite
- 5 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt / Pepper
- 5 pastry crust pre-rolled

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 170c
- Split the meat into 5 baking trays (800g in each) and the onions.
- Put a table spoon of Worcestershire sauce into each tray and season well with salt and pepper.
- Put 2 heaped tablespoons of plain flour in to each tray and mix well.
- In a jug put 1 oxo cube and 1 table spoon of marmite and 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and make it up to 1 litre with hot water from the kettle.
- Add the whole content of that jug in to 1 tray
- Repeat step 5 and 6 with all remaining trays
- Cover with foil and put into the oven for 3 hours
- Take out of oven turn up the oven to 200 C
- Remove foil give it a stir. Put pastry on it and brush it with egg wash.
- Back in the oven for about 30 mins.
